Renea is an ’04 graduate of the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine (MWC). MWC is the second oldest Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in the country, with two campuses: Chicago, Illinois and Racine, Wisconsin. Her degrees include a Bachelor of Nutrition as well as a Masters Degree in Oriental Medicine.
The Masters Degree in Oriental Medicine has gained Renea recognition as a Diplomate of Acupuncture (Dipl. Ac) and Diplomate of Chinese Herbology (Dipl.CH) with the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM)
Her education in Oriental Medicine included an externship in 2003 in China at the Guanzhou University in Guanzhou, China. Her Oriental Medicine degree includes acupuncture as well as Chinese herbology.
Renea is presently a sudent of Dr. Richard Teh-fu-Tan, Master Tun g(Ching Chang) and Dr. Miriam Lee.
Advanced Allergy Therapeutics (AAT)
AAT is a non-needle, non-herbal procedure to treat allergies. Renea is the only licensed AAT practitioner in Missouri at this time.
Renea has recently gained certification in another popular acupuncture modality: cosmetic acupuncture. The system she practices is known as the Mei Zen (beautiful person) facial rejuvenation system. The Mei Zen system complements most other anti-aging treatments as an alternative to having a surgical facelift, or to extend the positive effects of the surgery. Renea carries a special skin care line which is based on Chinese herbal formulas to beautify and improve the appearance of the skin.
